Why I write

A long time ago I promised myself that if I ever began to write, it would be with the intention of making people feel better. I hope that by reading this, some part of your life is more enriched or more valuable or makes a little more sense.

  1. Read you note re remembering to be you verse M.D.
    After 41 years in IM medicine, I certainly agree. It is so easy to become the physician you’ve trained to be and loose the person you were when you started medical training. When it comes to the end of your working life, you will wonder who you are if you lost yourself to being a physician.
